What is a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) exam?
A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a paraprofessional certification in behavior analysis. RBTs assist in delivering behavior analysis services and practice under the direction and close supervision of an RBT Supervisor and/or an RBT Requirements Coordinator, who are typically Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
They are primarily responsible for the direct implementation of behavior-analytic services, such as carrying out skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans developed by their supervisor, and collecting data on client progress.
